Play Area & Rules
Where applicable, simply substitute “frisbee” for “ball” in the General Rules.
Differences from Ball versions
Insiders are allowed to run into the No-Zone to pick up a downed or rolling frisbee, but must immediately throw it out. (The other two reasons for temporarily enter the No-Zone still pertain.)
There are no differences between Insiders and Outsiders regarding handling and moving with the frisbee.
When the frisbee falls to the ground, the team that touched it last loses possession.
Game Setup & Rules – three versions
Single Stango
The field contains one stango at the center of the field.
Teams consist of 8 playing members. Of these, only 2 per Period may be Insiders – those allowed to play interior to the Double Point Lines (shown in blue). The other 6 players − called Outsiders − must stay beyond the Double Point Line.
Teams may not score consecutively unless they first take the Frisbee out beyond the Hedge or the other team has touched the frisbee.
